Taratarini Temple

Location: Near Purushottampur, Ganjam
Description: This famous twin goddess temple is located atop a hill, and devotees climb steps or use the ropeway. It is considered one of the oldest Shakti Peethas in India. The temple is especially crowded during Tuesdays in the Chaitra month (March-April).

Gopalpur-on-Sea

Rushikulya Turtle Nesting Beach

Description: This is one of the world’s rarest mass nesting sites for Olive Ridley sea turtles. Every year, thousands of turtles arrive between February and March to lay eggs on the shore, attracting conservationists and tourists.

Budhara Chandi Temple
